2017 "… I just want to take this time to say thank you all for the care packages. Myself, as well as the other Soldiers in my unit, were very happy to receive them. We received them in the mail about two days ago and I must say that it was a very nice surprise. It is so nice to know that during our deployment we have so many people from back home in the states that is thinking about us."

Sgt. Granger, we want you to know that you, your entire unit and everyone who serves and protects our Nation and our Freedoms are ALWAYS in our thoughts and prayers, all day, EVERYDAY!! We couldn't be more proud of you and are so appreciative of your service! May God Bless you all and we wish you a very Merry Christmas!! ♥️

On behalf of every Sacramento Blue Star Mom, I'd like to say "Thank You" for your generous donations, time and efforts in writing cards and letters, collecting items to go inside the boxes and helping us pack the care boxes filled with love for our troops!

Dear Sacramento Blue Star Moms,

We just received a whole bunch of amazing care packages from you

today, Thank you so much! The thought and care put into this is very much

appreciated by all of us here. Many deployed Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and

Airmen do not get many, if any, care packages from home. I made sure those

individuals received one of your boxes. So you know, the looks on their faces

as they pawed through their care package finding treasures they've been

craving from back home was priceless! As you can imagine, we do not have

access to many of the simple things that we would like to have, and these

boxes are full of them! We can't thank you enough for the time and thought

you put into getting these boxes together and mailing to us here.

We are currently deployed to a small country in East Africa called

Djibouti. Our mission here is supporting the local countries in fighting

extremist organizations and establishing relationships to support their

stabilization and growth. The average temperature here from about March to

October is 100-110 during the day! It is HOT here... and VERY humid. My unit

here is from Florida. We are an Infantry Battalion of the Florida Army

National Guard. We work alongside the Navy, Marines, and Airforce every day.

Here is our official website, and official Facebook page!

Happy holidays from Kandahar! Thank you so much for the wonderful care package! That was so sweet and thoughtful and my guys and I were totally blown away by all the goodness in that box! That means so much you packed that box just for me! Please extend my thank you to all of those in the Blue Star Moms organization there!...

We are almost done! Our replacements get here in the next few weeks so we will be handing over everything to them and I am definitely looking forward to that. This has been a very busy deployment and our company has been stretched pretty thin across the theater. I know they are all looking forward to going home, seeing their families and catching up on the holidays we missed while out here...

Wishing you and your family all the best and a Merry Christmas! Thank you again!

December 2014

Please convey our deepest appreciation and gratitude.

During Christmas, we set-up stockings for many of the deployed personnel and stuffed them with some of the donated items we received. I wanted to share a few photos of their smiling faces.

Again a very special thanks to you and your team of Blue Star Mom's (and helpers)!

Good Day, Ma'am,

I just wanted to reach out and thank you for the gracious and thoughtful acts of sending care packages out to soldiers and sailors deployed. Special thanks to sending a few care packages directly to me and my office, a part of Patrol Forces in xxx. We are a group of United States Coast Guard members serving in xxx. Sometimes, it is the simplest acts from home that make us realize how great the people that we serve truly are and the immediate morale and excitement we get from these gifts is unexplainable. Thank you so much for what you do for us back home, Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Very Respectfully,

YN2 John xxx

Thank You so much for your support of our troops. My son is the one holding the flag in the Thank You photo on top of the MRAP. They love getting stuff from home let alone from people most don't even know. Your heartfelt gesture of support goes a long way with these young men and women. As a Mom and Dad who get up every day just to see if their son is on Facebook or how long ago he was on, gives us great relief he's made it safely through another day, we appreciate your efforts and support for our sons and daughters. Thank You again Sacramento Blue Star Mom's and your great team of volunteers and donors.

Hi Blue Star Moms!

Thank you so much for the packages you have sent us! Everything GREAT! I have shared all the packages with everyone in the entire hospital. It was great to pass out the packages to Airmen in various departments and everyone was so happy and surprised by the packages from your organization. We have had a great amount of support from our family, friends, and wonderful organizations like the one you are involved in. It truly is amazing how wonderful our fellow Americans are. We are proud to serve for you.

Sincerely,

Thank You

The Guys really enjoyed everything and are grateful that they are able to connect and get boxes. I am grateful also for all that you do for us out here. I was talking to one of the guys he mentioned that he has not gotten any mail since he arrived 4 months ago so he was excited to get into the boxes and see what was in them.

Thank You Again

God Bless Happy Easter

I would like to thank you for taking time out of your day and put forth effort into taking care of us while deployed. While I understand that most Soldiers who receive these packages may not reply back simply because they may not have the means to do so, or they are so mesmerized about what they received they forget to thank back.

I received a package and I would like to say that these small things make a huge difference in our lives while deployed. A simple bag of corn nuts can put a smile on a soldier who may be going through a hard time over here, it gives him a 5-minute memory of a good place and time in his life.

Some of us have families who send a bunch of good stuff, but most of us do not. So the Soldiers who miss out on Family care packages get a chance at that good feeling from the other Family, YOU!

Again, your help is priceless and the Soldiers from B co

ARE EXTREMELY APPRECIATIVE OF WHAT YOU DO FOR US. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

I want to say thank you to Girl Scout Troop 960 out of Rocklin, California for the package sent to me. You young ladies placed a smile on my face and made some coalition nations here shocked about the support we get, thank you!
